How long does it take to get a production-ready part from Grove Die Casting?
Once a tool is received or built, we typically complete die setup, sample validation, and first article approval within 6–8 weeks. This timeline includes tool trials, porosity checks, and a run-off before launching full production.
What aluminum alloys do you cast with?
We specialize in A360, A380, and A413 aluminum alloys, each offering different advantages for corrosion resistance, machinability, and pressure-tight performance. All alloys are domestically sourced and certified by Allied Metal.
Can Grove accommodate low-volume or prototype runs?
Yes. We support short-to-medium volume production, typically ranging from 50 to 20,000 parts. Our process is ideal for customers who need flexibility without sacrificing quality or dimensional consistency.
Does Grove Die Casting provide finishing or secondary operations?
Absolutely. We offer in-house vibratory finishing, as well as coordination for anodizing, coating, machining, and assembly through trusted local partners. These post-cast processes are tightly controlled to ensure cosmetic and functional quality.
